Traveled all the way from Aurora, CO to try their scones and corn chowder....ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! Also had the Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwich with fries, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! Vernal....y'all got to fill this place up daily!!!
We are new to living in Vernal and slowly getting around to all the different restaurants in town. This is one I would go to again and had great food. Not only that the ambiance was very "Vernal". If you are a tourist visiting this is a great choice with options for everyone. They also have a fantastic souvenir shop that is better than the dinosaur museums or the heritage museum in town in my opinion. If you want a fun, nice, authentic Vernal dining experience I don't think you can find better in town.
Excellent food, excellent service, and very reasonable prices, especially considering the huge portions that they give you. It has that family business feel. I wish we could take this restaurant home to GA with us. Thank you for a good experience!
I got the 3 ribs with mash potatoes and green beans. We also got the hamburger steak with mash potatoes and green beans.Before the meal, I had a salad and cup of soup. We also had scones with butter. I like looking at the little general store that has souvenirs and other trinkets.
The food was amazing and fast. The staff was very friendly and were constantly in motion. Fried pickles... some of the best I've ever had. And the scones! YUM
You will not walk away hungry from this homestyle cooking. We got entrees that included soup, salad, veggies, scone, and your choice of potato. The oinky onion is ginormous. The staff is attentive and extremely helpful with the menu and keeping drinks filled. We were extremely pleased with Emma’s knowledge of the menu and her attentiveness during our meal. She made dining out with children a more pleasant experience. Will definitely come back next time we are traveling through Vernal.

Awesome place. Tami was a fantastic server, she made me feel like I was part a family even though I was having dinner alone. a welcoming vibe for anyone. Main dish came out in less than 12 minutes after I ordered. The soup and salad came out first in less than 3 minutes. Maybe I just had perfect timing but it seemed very fast and the food was a great deal for the quality and presentation
We were in town and the first night we were without a car so we were looking for a place to eat that would deliver. We found this place. We weren't all that impressed. We waited far too long for the food, when we did get it we were missing things and some were cold. BUT after receiving an auto text asking for feedback I responded explaining what happened, the situation was MORE THAN rectified. The next night we needed somewhere to eat again. This time we had a car and could go anywhere but my husband loved the ruban sandwich he got the night before enough to go there again. I decided I would give them a try again. I was hoping I would like it, I was so glad I have them a second try. The Patty Melt was the best I've ever had! The fries were great too. The dessert was ok, and was missing whipping cream but still good. I think I'll try something different next time I'm in town, but we will be back next time we are in town. I contemplated telling my husband we needed to go today before leaving town but we didn't have time. The prices were great too. Both times we got take out we can't say much about anything other than that.
